How is the summer treating you? I hope you are all doing well and good. I’m dropping by to share refreshing summer recipe, perfect to enjoy on a hot summer day. It’s really easy!
Refreshing Summer Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients and supplies:
1 and a half cups of fruit of your choice. Fresh or Frozen will work
1 cup of ice
12 oz (or one can) of club soda or flavored seltzer water such as Bubly or La Croix (don’t be afraid to experiment with flavors! The combinations are endless)
A blender or food processor
Two glasses (This recipe serves two)
Add the fruit, ice, and club soda (add the club soda last to avoid splashing), to the blender. Place the lid on the blender and make sure it’s secure. Blend on medium speed for 30 seconds. Stop and stir everything around and then put the lid back on and blend for 30-60 seconds. That’s it! The smoothie is ready to serve. If you like, you may play with the consistency of the drink by adding more or less club soda, or more or less fruit, depending on how thick you want your smoothie.
