Donating Hotel Toiletries

Do you collect hotel soaps? Is there an abundance of them in your bathroom drawer at home? Well, if you have any spare soaps/shampoos/lotions donating them to a local women’s shelter is a good option to clean the clutter from your bathroom! As a student athlete, I travel a lot, and collect the soaps from various hotels and they are donated to the women’s shelter. A little bit of soap can go a long way! Other items such as feminine products, toothbrushes, socks, bras and other toiletries are also in high demand at woman’s shelters!

Hello Everyone! My name is Amy Louise Gentry. I was born and raised in the small town of Fairbanks, Alaska. I am currently a student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks majoring in Psychology. I am also a student athlete on the Division 1 NCAA Alaska rifle team! I enjoy spending my free time volunteering and giving back to my community. A fun fact about myself is that I am a second degree blackbelt in Taekwondo. I love reading, painting, and singing. I enjoy pageantry because it is an outlet to meet amazing and successful individuals from all over the country and create friendships that form a sisterhood. With my title I will use my voice to spread a positive image and to be a role model for young aspiring women. I am so excited to be your Miss Alaska American Coronet 2020!
