First Responders Appreciation

Happy First Responders Week! My family is blessed to know many first responders as my husband was a volunteer firefighter for 15 years. But I wanted to recognize a couple of amazing people.
Michael Ivey, thank you for all you do with Life Flight. It takes a special person to be a trauma healthcare provider. You are always calm and devoted. You work as hard at work as you do at home. You are truly an amazing person. Thank you for being you!
Asheley Allred is the Duty chief for Cypress Point Fire and Rescue. She has devoted many years of service as a fire fighter. In our small communities all our departments support each other for calls and community needs. You become family even if you aren’t part of the same station. Asheley is a positive role model for our girls/women. She is proof that women can be anything they want to be. She has trained and mentored many firefighters through the years. Proud to call her my friend. Blessed that we are all family through service.
May all first responders stay safe and healthy. May they continue to know they are supported and appreciated by their communities. Thank you for all you do!
