First Trip as Mrs. American Coronet!

I’m super excited about traveling this year as Mrs. American Coronet and my new sash had its first trip to Texas to help promote an anti-bullying campaign! As a pageant coach I have the unique opportunity of traveling the country throughout the year for competitions but also for volunteerism events to support my girls with their platforms. This trip took me 556 miles round trip from Baton Rouge to League City, TX to help Chelsea promote her BRAVE Buddies Campaign. She is competing in the High School America national pageant in June and her marketing plan includes making hand-sewn bears to give out to the vulnerable population so they know they are loved, supported, and respected. BRAVE is an anti-bullying campaigned focused on teaching respect and values for everyone and to end bullying. Chelsea has decided to also focus on the elderly, NIC-U babies, foster care children, and people with special needs. Today we launched a social media campaign to raise awareness about BRAVE and her bears to open the conversation with families on how we can instill respectful habits in our youth and within ourselves so we can continue to leave the world in a better state each and every day.
