Giving Support to Ukrainian Refugees

Like many, I have been glued to my TV, Facebook, IG, and TikTok for the last two weeks, watching the events in Ukraine unfold with shock and sadness. From the beginning, I started asking myself ‘What can I do?’
After much prayer and contemplation, I made the bold leap to apply as a volunteer aide for refugees. I have been placed in Brussels, Belgium and I will leave to offer my help at the end of April. While I understand the gravity of the situation, I can’t help but be hopeful that I might make a small difference and help the refugees of Ukraine. I will be working with food and community outreach in Brussels which includes offering help to those outside immigration offices and other displaced persons. I ask for your good thoughts for myself as I make this journey but mostly for the people of Ukraine.
Wow, that’s outstanding to go and help refugees of war. You certainly will make a difference!
Thank you so much, Mary! I know it will be a life-changing experience for me and I hope I can be of some help to others.
Thank you for helping. My family and I will pray for you every night.
Thank you, Sycie! That’s so kind of you.
