Graduation.. welcome to your future..

My walk through the halls of the elementary school I attended..

Here in New York, our public schools have graduation very late in June.  My graduation is set for June 28th. It has been a very long month leading up to graduation, but in retrospect, it’s been a very short time since I started Kindergarten to my Senior year.. Monday, we had our Senior Walk where we visit the elementary school we attended all dressed in our caps and gowns to revisit our old teachers.  I got to see most of my teachers, one retired since I was there but all the rest, from my Kindergarten teacher to my 6th grade teachers were all there.  It made me realize that time flies so quickly as I remember just about every day in those classrooms..

The future is a scary thing to think about, however, I know I am well prepared from what I have learned plus I have an incredible support system with my family and friends. I will be attending the University of Tampa where I will be pursuing a double degree in Applied Dance and Human Performance.  It will be hard, but it will be rewarding. Just like anything worth while, it will be worth all the hard work.. I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life..
