Grateful, thankful and blessed to have been your Miss American Coronet!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to hop on here one last time before the National results are announced this morning and say thank you! Even though the pandemic threw a curveball on a lot of events and volunteer opportunities I had planned, I was still able to get in and around my community to help with donating blood, as it is heavily needed during this time, as well as the food bank and helping with their food drives as numerous families and individuals struggled and still struggle with being able to get groceries or have a hot meal. I was able to talk to them about their struggles and how the pandemic has affected them personally. Also within the past year, I received my Certified Nursing Assistant license and jumped right into a job at a major hospital in the Grand Rapids area, which was an area of Michigan that has been hit hard with COVID. While it’s extremely stressful, I would not change the fact that I have been able to help others get better and help treat them to the best of my ability. Though I didn’t have my crown and banner on, I wore my PPE and know I’ve been helping not just my city, but the nation get better as a whole so people can travel and live their lives.

This past year has truly been a whirlwind and I am so thankful for the opportunity of being crowned with the honor of Miss American Coronet! I want to congratulate all of the National Queens that will be announced soon and also say congratulations to everyone who is running this year! All of you ladies should be so extremely proud of yourselves and all that you are doing to help out in and around your communities!

One last thing I want to add is that just four days ago, my amazing, caring and loving man that has always been so incredibly supportive since the first day we met almost 4 years ago, got down on one knee and proposed to me! So maybe you will see me running for Mrs. American Coronet in the future! 😉

Again, I am so thankful, grateful and blessed to have had this opportunity and to be your Miss American Coronet 2020-2021!

Lots of love,

Olivia Suzanna Lein <3
