Halloween

I love Halloween. It’s a great time to have some fun with makeup and to dress up. It also allows you to have some fun times with friends while getting some free candy! Who can resist that. But more than that while trick or treating one of my faveotie things is to collect money for charity. It’s easy to do and many people do donate. It doesn’t matter if you raise $10 or $1,000 any little but helps.
Do you have any leftover candy or candy you dont want? Consider donating it to a hospital, homeless shelter, a battered womans’ shelter or to send to soldiers overseas.  To me volunteering isn’t about recognition but rather putting a smile on someone’s face. You never know what anyone else is going through and the the smallest thing can make people feel better, including a smile.
