Healthcare Appreciation!

I would love to take the time today and everyday to thank and recognize all of our amazing healthcare workers out there! I know things are tough at the moment, but I know that we can and we will all get through this together.

For those of you who don’t know, I am in college right now and studying to become a Physician Assistant. My father had open-heart surgery when he was only 40 years-old. I was eight at the time and his cardiologist took me under his wing and has been such an amazing mentor to me ever since. He’s been the biggest help and inspiration to me and I want to be just as much as a help and inspiration to my patients as I continue in school and into my P.A. career. I love that I am going into a career where I can help people everyday because helping others feel better, is one of the best feelings!

Wearing scrubs and putting on a mask is something that is a regular occurrence for me, and I just want to say that until this virus is contained, it is so important to wear a mask and to make sure you are always staying safe and healthy. It will help every healthcare worker for you to do so, as well as yourself and others.

Again, thank you so much to all of our wonderful healthcare workers! Everyone, including myself, appreciate you all and are thankful for everything you do to keep the world a better place everyday! ❤

  1. Hi Olivia,

I am both impressed and proud of the career path you have chosen. Best of luck to you in your studies, the road may have some difficulties, but I know you can get through them with ease and grace.

I wear my mask in public, not just for safety, but as a sign of respect for those around me, including healthcare and emergency workers who are on the frontline of this pandemic. We’re all in this together.

    With much love and respect,
