We may be living in historic times right now, and it may not be a bad idea to write a journal for future generations. But I miss my volunteer work at the Frontier Army Museum. I am looking forward to the Covid-End so I can take up another assignment I’ve been offered: cataloging photograph glass slides from this area, c1860s-70s. This plate was an EE Henry photograph, it was in the camera like a modern negative, and took a Tenth Cavalry officer’s picture in 1869. I never get tired of holding America’s forgotten history and just enjoying the feel and letting myself travel back in time for awhile.
