Jingling for Arthritis Research

The 35th Indianapolis Jingle Bell Run was a resounding success! It was such an honor to be named the 2022 Community Champion Honoree and it’s been a wonderful year raising awareness for this worthy cause. Arthritis doesn’t only affect our elderly population. Women are more prone to have arthritis. Kids get arthritis, too. And our veterans are often overlooked when it comes to this silent disease. 

I’m so pleased that my team ‘Kate’s Daring Dashers’ came in 4th place in fundraising! Arthritis Foundation Indiana raised nearly $80,000 in this event alone and it’s a remarkable feat. Thank you to my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, for their continuous donation of pandas, volunteers, and funds as well. Though my time as Community Champion Honoree is coming to a close, the work continues! I’m grateful to work alongside the wonderful people who champion this organization.
