Miss Florida Teen 2022: Anabella Suluh

Hey everyone, I’m Anabella Suluh and I’m honored to represent my home state of Florida as your Miss Teen Florida American Coronet 2022. You can follow my reign and more at Instagram and Facebook. I also have a YouTube channel dedicated to my dance training/career.

Speaking of Florida, my home state isn’t exactly living up to its nickname of the Sunshine State with the cold weather we’re having.

I’m a college freshman at Seminole State College with future plans to attain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Technology at the University of Central Florida. Once I receive my BFA, I plan on traveling internationally to attain a Master in Fashion Design from ESMOD in Jakarta, Indonesia before returning home to pursue a career in Film, Television, and Theatre as a costume designer. I have had the privilege of helping costume two shows in my first semester of college and I look forward to a successful career as a costume designer.

When I’m not hitting the books, I’m hitting the dance floor as a competitive ballroom dancer. My dream is to dance professionally and compete at Blackpool in England representing the United States. For now, I’m working with nationally ranked coaches on being the best dancer I can be and finding an amateur dance partner.

Since 2016, I’ve been designing collections and have shown them at numerous events including NYFW 2.0 presented by Art & Beauty Magazine and Orlando International Fashion Week. I’ve had the privilege of having my designs featured on local and national television, as well. One of my favorite experiences was having models of all shapes and sizes wear my designs at the Model4Miracles Charity Fashion show benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

In addition to charity fashion shows, my community involvement has included numerous hours volunteering with organizations such as Clean The World, Feeding Children Everywhere (now known as US Hunger), and the Central Florida chapter of the Sunshine Foundation. In 2021, I was appointed to the board of Teens Go Green Global, a 501(c)3 non-profit, that encourages minimal waste practice through trash-fashion shows, environmental service events, speaking engagements, and more.

In my spare time, I enjoy shopping at thrift stores, playing video games, and learning to roller skate. My goal this year is to get my driver’s license.
