Good Sunday afternoon to everyone! These last few weeks have been a crazy whirlwind of being accepted into my dream medical school, organizing and setting up events that I can safely attend and then becoming a certified nursing assistant! As some of you know, I have dealt with medical issues in the past and I had so many CNAs that inspired and motivated me to get better and I am so excited to start my medical career in helping, inspiring and motivating people to strive to get better as well! I was able to share my story with the class about my struggle with anorexia and advocated my platform of “Staying•HopeFull.” I also shared how important it is to be compassionate and understanding in the medical field as you never know what someone may be going through. I’ve been a patient before and now I am a medical professional and I am so excited to be able to help others with respect and compassion as I know what it’s like. I look forward to attending Grand Valley State University in the fall, continuing my education in becoming a Physician Assistant while helping others working as a CNA! I hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and much love to everyone!
