Self-Care Saturday!


Today is another beautiful spring day in Northern Michigan and like Queen Cherie, I feel that self-care is so important! Today, I went for a run around my little village, then came home and took a hot shower, put some make-up on, did my nails (nowhere near professionally 😉 ) and then of course to always make me feel good, put my crown and banner on!

My favorite things to treat myself are massages and pedicures and since we aren’t able to do that right now, you can always find other ways to take some time out of your day for self-care. Treating yourself to self-care is so good for you physically, mentally and emotionally! Some ideas that you can do for yourself are take a bubble bath or hot shower, do your nails/hair, go outside and be active, put scented lotion on, meditate/yoga, read a book, write positive affirmations in your journal, smile and so much more!

Remember to always “pause,” and take some time in your day for yourself. You will feel better and your body will thank you! ?
