Staying healthy during quarantine

Hello ACP Family,

I hope you are all healthy and well. Although we are all experiencing this current pandemic together, I wanted you all to know that staying healthy and active is still very much a possibility. Other than maintaining good hygiene standards, and keeping proper distance, there are a multitude of other ways to maintain your health. I like to stay active with daily exercise, as well as taking daily vitamins, staying hydrated, and taking quiet moments to maintain my mental and emotional health.

As far as daily exercise goals go, I like to go for long walks on the treadmill at the gym or tread climber which I have at home. I also like to lift weights and use weight training machines in order to maintain strength. However, since the gyms are currently closed, I’m using the limited equipment that I have at home. If you don’t have any equipment of your own, don’t fret, there are plenty of other ways to stay active. One of my favorite ways to stay active without equipment, is turn turn the music up loud and dance! This is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to move your body and burn energy, and it’s fun to do! Another option is to watch free workout videos which can be found online on youtube, as well as websites like, which provides free workouts to those who have their app.

I also enjoy a daily stretching routine, which helps me maintain flexibility, and reduces the likelihood of strain and injury. I also like to meditate and write in a gratitude journal in order to maintain peace of mind and to focus on my emotional health.

No matter which path to health and fitness you choose, always remember that you deserve health and vitality, and the benefits that go along with it. I truly believe that you deserve to feel great physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is an honor for me to try my best to inspire you in this way, and in any other way that I can.

Much love and respect to you all,

Cherie Poolsiri
