Summer of Fur

Volunteering with the Stray Facility on post makes for interesting introductions. I stopped by to drop off adoption paperwork and this little gal had been brought in that morning by the MPs. She wasn’t as interested in food as much as climbing on shoulders and heads. Afterwards she did have a large meal, a good burp, and settled down into her quarantine cage where new strays must be placed for a few weeks. Thanks to efforts by other volunteers we found her owner. Another kitty was found wandering the next day, and after more detective work, I found its owner too. Rewarding to help the helpless little fur babies!

  1. I adore animals, and am guardian to two rescued fur babies of my own. Thank you so much for helping those homeless and lost souls.
